Disney Springs is a complex of more than 150 stores, restaurants and outdoor entertainment at the Walt Disney World Resort on Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Florida U.S.
Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney) is made up of several different neighborhoods and is located on the east side of Walt Disney World near Typhoon Lagoon. It is across the lake from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and close to Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter.
Guests also enjoy free shuttle bus service available from all Disney resorts and parks to the Town Center bus stop at Disney Springs, but only after 4pm. For visitors not staying at Walt Disney Resorts, admission to the mall is free and parking is also free.
The mall has many activities, delicious food, drinks such as wines, cocktails and beers of various qualities, the place is perfect for shopping for souvenirs or shopping in general. You're sure to find your famous brand in one of their impeccable stores. Also don't forget that here is where the WORLD OF DISNEY store is located.
Like all Walt Disney parks, the Mall also has security guards at the mall's entrance. They inspect backpacks, bags and people, to keep everyone safe.
Even with so many options for restaurants, outlets and malls in the city, Disney Springs is indeed one of the places to be included in your visit to Orlando.
Disney Springs is like an adult playground. Sure, Disney Springs is great for all ages…but it's really fun for the adults who can drink and dine at some of the best restaurants there. Also, shopping, going to the movies, watching a Cirque show and much more.
A day at Disney Springs is a very worthwhile day.
