When it comes to exciting entertainment for all ages, the park is home to over 40 rides and attractions that include:Lightning Rod, the fastest wooden roller coaster in the world. Wild Eagle, the nation's first wing roller coaster. FireChaser Express, the nation's first dual launch family coaster. Wildwood Grove, named Best Children's Area three years in a row.
Other great rides are: Mystery Mine, Blazing Fury, Barnstormer, Daredevil Falls, Thunderhead not to mention new rides and attractions including: Big Bear Mountain, Dollywood's newest and longest roller coaster! With a top speed of 48 mph, Big Bear Mountain takes guests through three separate launches, multiple airtime hills, high-speed carousel turns, and tunnels, including a walkway behind a waterfall. With a minimum height requirement of 36”, your whole family can join the Big Bear quest.
For every season of the year the park offers many fun things to do in Dollywood.

Spring comes to life during Dollywood's Food & Flower Festival, presented by Covenant Health. You'll be enchanted by over a million vibrant flowers, gigantic mosaics, mouth-watering food and spectacular shows.
During the summer, cool off with the family at Dollywood's Splash Country, an unforgettable and fun water park experience. Plus, the park stays open late for an evening drone and fireworks extravaganza during Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration hosted by Bush's Beans.
You can also enjoy fall's best moments in the Smoky Mountains during America's #1 Fall family event, geared towards USA Today readers, the Harvest Festival is presented by Humana. After sunset, the award-winning Great Pumpkin LumiNights and presented by Covenant Health. The beauty of autumn is visible everywhere and the weather is always very pleasant.
Finally, each winter, Dollywood hangs over six million dazzling lights to celebrate Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana. You'll be able to see why the spectacular season has been named America's best holiday event for over a decade.
During the colder times of the year, some Rides and Attractions may only operate above certain temperatures. It's always good to find out about park guidelines before planning your tour.

The resort is nestled among the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. Dollywood's newest resort is a reimagined, well-appointed property offering an array of accommodations and amenities, including spacious family suites, as well as 26,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. The opening is scheduled for the month of October 2023.
