Did you know?
That Thanksgiving is celebrated on the last Thursday of November. Considered one of the most traditional and important holidays in North American culture, Thanksgiving Day, or Thanksgiving Day, is a date when family members and friends gather just to enjoy dinner and give thanks for the blessings received during the year. Turkey is the main course of dinner, accompanied by other traditional dishes such as pumpkin, cranberry, corn, sweet potato, pumpkin pie …
The date is marked by parades and it is very common for people to watch on television the great traditional parade of the great chain of Macy's stores through the streets of New York, with lots of music, giant balloons of cartoon characters and an audience of millions of people.
The date also marks the beginning of Christmas shopping. After all the Thanksgiving feasts, all eyes turn to a season full of sensational sales and discounts like BLACK FRIDAY, the biggest sale of the year in the country.
You may have also heard of CYBER MONDAY, which is an e-commerce term that refers to the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend in the United States. Just like physical stores do with Black Friday, online retailers often offer special deals, discounts and sales on this day.
Thanksgiving Day is a very interesting tradition, isn't it?
Happy Thanksgiving.
